Empower a Teacher Contest

The Butterfly Foundation is accepting nominations for three (3) outstanding teachers to receive $1000 to help empower their 2022 fall semester.
Teachers may apply or be nominated, entrant must be a Colorado resident and be able to provide proof of employment in a Denver Metropolitan
Area school.

Eligibility:

  • Active Pre-K or K-12 Denver Metropolitan Area teacher
  • Provide proof of current registration with the Colorado Department of Education on or before the start of the Empower a Teacher Contest.

Empower a Teacher Contest Entry Form 2022
Deadline for submissions is 11:59am on October 25th. Winners will be announced in early November.

First, we need to gather your contact information.

Next, we need some basic information about the teacher being nominated.

If teacher participates in more than just one grade, please list all classrooms and explain the level of involvement the teacher has in each room.

Thanks for the details! Now, please tell us about this amazing teacher and why you think they should win the $1000!

Please provide some basic information and any other unique details you think we should know about the person you are nominating.
For example: What makes them stand out amongst the other teachers? How does their attitude help encourage their colleagues and students to want to come to school?
Please provide any circumstantial details about the nominee that would make them a good candidate.
