Empower a Teacher Contest

The Butterfly Foundation will be awarding three outstanding Denver-metro area teachers a $1,000 scholarship for their contributions to their school communities.

Teachers may apply or be nominated. If you know an outstanding and dynamic teacher, please nominate them here .

The Deadline to apply is November 30, 2023. The entrant must be a Colorado resident and be able to provide proof of employment in a Denver Metropolitan Area school.

Eligibility:

  • Active Pre-K or K-12 Denver Metropolitan Area teacher
  • Provide proof of current registration with the Colorado Department of Education on or before the start of the Empower a Teacher Contest.

The Butterfly Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting people who have suffered loss, Illness, or other hardship by empowering them emotionally, spiritually, physically or financially.

We carefully screen those seeking help and award assistance to recipients who embrace our philosophy of paying it forward. We accept nominations for support from caring family and friends. At the Butterfly Foundation we know a little help can go a long way.
